The Archaeological Museum of Nicopolis houses an extensive collection exceeding 10,000 artifacts unearthed from archaeological excavations conducted on the site since 1913. This diverse assortment comprises marble statues, busts, sarcophagi, altars, inscriptions, a multitude of architectural fragments, jewelry, pottery, tools, and coins. The sheer diversity and opulence of these discoveries underscore the city of Nicopolis’ elevated quality of life and its distinctly urban character.
Within the museum, a permanent exhibition proudly showcases more than 1,100 carefully selected objects, meticulously organized into nine themed sections.
We have thoughtfully curated representative pieces from each section for your viewing pleasure.
