Some of the AMN’s repositories were relocated to the exhibition space to provide visitors with access to a larger portion of the collection and a visual connection with artifacts that would otherwise remain hidden.
These artifacts are not integrated into the exhibition’s themed sections, either due to space limitations or the loss of excavation data, primarily stemming from undocumented or clandestine excavations.
Additionally, the exhibition features items from the original Nicopolis museum located within the Agios Andreas Castle in Preveza.
This museum suffered bombing and looting during World War II, resulting in the loss of excavation records for the surviving artifacts, making it impossible to determine their exact provenance.
